Bible Bowl in Arkansas Louisiana

Fifteen conference Pathfinder Clubs participated in the Arkansas Louisiana Bible Bowl program this year. Each club selected a team of six and one alternate who studies certain portions of the Bible and then each area of the conference hold a Bible Bowl and receives a ranking determined by the amount of questions they were able to answer correctly. This year Bible Bowl was over parts of the book of Deuteronomy and all of Joshua. The teams who answered 90 % or more questions correctly achieved a First Place Ranking. The First Place Ranked teams are able to proceed on to the Conference Level Bible Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Out of the 15 teams participating in the Area Bible Bowls during the month of February, six achieved the First Place Ranking and participated in the Conference Level Bible Bowl on March 3. When the Conference Bible Bowl was complete there were two teams which achieved the First Place Ranking.

Gentry, AR and the Harrison, AR were able to proceed on to the Mid-America Invitational Bible Bowl in Denver, Colorado on March 10, 2007. Sixteen teams from seven conferences were represented at the Invitational Bible Bowl.

I am proud to inform you the Harrison Bible Bowl Team achieved a First Place Ranking and the Gentry Bible Bowl Team achieved a Second Place Ranking. Congratulations to each team. These teams represented the Arkansas Louisiana Conference well.
